Looking for a place to get married in Cincinnati? Welcome to Greenacres Arts Center! This beautiful venue is rich with history and is dripping in elegance and class.
The History of Greenacres Arts Center
Greenacres was originally built between 1924-1927. The Nippert family purchased it in early 2000 and brought it back to its original beauty. This venue is used for weddings and corporate events on the weekend. However, during the week Greenacres Foundation use Greenacres Arts Center and the surrounding land and horse stables to bring school lessons to life for local students. The kids come for customized field trips to learn about the environment, plant and animal life, music, and culture. Giving back to the community is the main mission of Greenacres Arts Center and of the Nippert family.
The elegant flower gardens you see are all grown in the greenhouse on location. It takes a diverse team of 75 to take care of the grounds and keep Greenacres beautiful year round.
We met with Kyle Conlon, the Events Manager. We were so impressed with her attention to detail as she showed us around the venue and talked to us about the care they give to each client. We asked her what her favorite moment was during a wedding? Right away Kyle, said I love when, right after the ceremony, the groom can’t stop turning his newly placed ring on his finger. It’s such a sweet moment. We agree it’s one of our favorite moments through the day of a wedding to capture!
In this photo the large bay of still water is called ‘the moat’.

One of our favorite attractions at Greenacres is this elegant stone fountain called the ‘cascading fountain’, pictured above and below. Just to walk by the water as it gently trickles down each stone brings you peace and a sense of calm.
